Thank you Brendan

CHANGE IS AFOOT
This Paddy's Day will be The Kissers' 27th anniversary. When you're a band that long, you go through changes. By my count there have been 19 members of the band. I think of it in three phases: the O'Cayz days, the touring machine, and the post-retirement in-it-for-the-long-haul group that you've known for some time now.

It's fascinating to see how each phase of the band has had its own personality, and yet the overall character of The Kissers has remained the same. It's like a song that once released into the world, gains a life of its own. Listeners experience it in ways far removed from the songwriter's intentions. In this case we formed the band, and then it has continued on as its own being. In our case from partying, to touring hard and loud, to performing and writing with intention.

The current lineup has lasted longer than any other. 13 years! But as with anything, change is the only constant. It's bittersweet--the kind of sadness that tells you life is full.

Our upcoming Paddy's Day Celebration on March 15 will be Brendan's last show. Brendan's contribution to the band has been huge. They've brought integrity, insightful perspectives, awesome guitar effects, clever songwriting and arranging, and a hilarious sense of humor. Keep an eye out because they're going on to work on more musical projects. You can't keep a good musician down.

So from the bottom of our hearts, we thank Brendan for being with us all these years, and wish them the best in their future endeavors.

We hope you'll be able to help us give Brendan a proper Kissers send off on the 15th.

Sláinte,
Ken and The Kissers
